hightea??
its quite relaxing when u take ur time off from the hectic exams and studies to have a nice evening tea by the roadside… enjoying nice cooling ais cendol and some snack… what’s more interesting is its no ordinary roadside… this evening i was at the foothill of bukit cina in melaka… for locals, i’m sure u guys know what bukit cina represents…
YES, ITS A GRAVEYARD~!!!… and we were having cendol on top of someone’s deceased… one of them even suggested to sit on the grave stone when there isnt enough chair available… WTF!!…
according to locals, this part of the graveyard has long been abandoned as its history dated back to hundreds of years ago… their decendences no longer pay them visit during hungry ghost festivals… even the gravestone no longer has any name carvings on it… names have long eroded together with past memories…
anyway, i had 2 bowl of cendol and a plate of mee goreng…
cendol was nice but abit too small… an average person would easily consume 2-3 bowls… the mee goreng was not bad, minus the spicy part….
its quite an experience having ur tea time in the graveyard… jz make sure u dont go that often during 7th month and after dark…
