November 9th, 2007 by kahchai1985my house is SPCA
November 5th, 2007 by kahchai1985pets come and go in my house… i also dunno why… lately my house got another puppy… so far, there are 5 dogs, 1 cat, 1 tortoise, 1 snake and a number of hamsters shared under one roof with us… lets review them one by one…
first dog came to our house was bought back by luis… bought him from somewhere for a sum of money, he soon was dominating the front compound… until when luis n his gf decided to move him over to her gf’s house for better "lifestyle" and "treatment"…
second dog came soon after when jason found him wandering helplessly around the neighbourhood… we named him Major…
after a few months, he died of food poisoning…
during this period, nick also brought back a fully grown male golden retriever… the owner didnt had time to take care of him properly and the dog is alwiz left wandering around the neighbourhood without proper care…. after a few chats with the owner, he agreed to let nick take the dog home…
yes its an expensive breed… but its attitude doesnt reflect the same… he is alwiz eager to run out and once it ran back to the old owner… so, at last the GR went back to his previous owner… we could often see him lepaking around bukit beruang at night….
anyway, nevermind of that… next we have Yuki… was some sort abducted from malim area during the flood period… luis found him helplessly soaked in water and very weak, he took him home, gave him food and shelter…
actually she has a owner living somewhere in malim area… during the flashflood, the owner fled, leaving him trapped in the house with water gushing in….
well, after months later, luis decided its time to return her back to her proper owner….
as we all think its time to stop taking in anymore dogs, the uncle next door found a cross-breed shih-tzu abandoned at the field behind our house… soon we found out that the dog was infested with flea all over his body… we came up with an agreement that uncle will be the owner and we will be co-owners…
Lucky, as we named him, had his fur all shaved off… medicine was applied all over his body to kill the flea and had his nails trimmed off… soon he is as active as ever…
as uncle thinks he cant take care of him for long term, Lucky was adopted by my friend…
i only came to realise the existance of this current dog when i came back from holiday… he was brought here by jimmy… jason decided to keep him until we can find a home for him… he named him Midnight, coz he came to our house during midnight….
it is believed to be another cross-breed from dalmation… i’m not too sure about it… anyway, he is biting everything and drinks teh ais quite often… wonder how long he will be around till….
ohya, forgot to introduce some other pets in our house…
first up, jason’s baby ratsnake… found outside our house compound…
soon it died because jason didnt feed him… i wonder where is it’s mother…
next are my hamstersss… hehehehe…
and this are their pups…
now only left 3… the first male passed away few months ago due to old age and disease…
the other hamsters in my house that belongs to luis..
currently only 2 surviving….
and some other exotic animals somehow found their way into the house…
batman…
and cicakman…
there are also some guppies and bettas belongs to luis, a tortoise owned by siewkham (at the end died of human-caused tsunami), a cat with a pack of kittens, some rats and whole lots of cockroaches, ants, mosquitoes and flies…
do visit us if u are free… entrance fees is Rm5…

October 9th, 2007 by kahchai1985hightea??
October 7th, 2007 by kahchai1985its quite relaxing when u take ur time off from the hectic exams and studies to have a nice evening tea by the roadside… enjoying nice cooling ais cendol and some snack… what’s more interesting is its no ordinary roadside… this evening i was at the foothill of bukit cina in melaka… for locals, i’m sure u guys know what bukit cina represents…
YES, ITS A GRAVEYARD~!!!… and we were having cendol on top of someone’s deceased… one of them even suggested to sit on the grave stone when there isnt enough chair available… WTF!!…
according to locals, this part of the graveyard has long been abandoned as its history dated back to hundreds of years ago… their decendences no longer pay them visit during hungry ghost festivals… even the gravestone no longer has any name carvings on it… names have long eroded together with past memories…
anyway, i had 2 bowl of cendol and a plate of mee goreng…
cendol was nice but abit too small… an average person would easily consume 2-3 bowls… the mee goreng was not bad, minus the spicy part….
its quite an experience having ur tea time in the graveyard… jz make sure u dont go that often during 7th month and after dark…
